Installation & Self-Hosting

LotusGen can be deployed using Docker Compose or run directly in Python and Node development environments.

Quick Start with Docker Compose

Clone the repository and run the container stack:

git clone ssh://git@git.sylphian.my.id:2222/Sylphian/lotusgen.git
cd lotusgen
docker compose up -d --build

The service will be accessible locally on port 8000.

Local Development Setup

Backend (FastAPI)

cd backend
python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
uvicorn backend.main:app --reload --port 8000

Frontend (Vite + React)

cd frontend
npm install
npm run dev
